New 25 inch Chinese gold bamboo flute built and tuned by Thomas Richardson with hand carved and painted Lotus flower with the abbreviation NMRK, the Buddhist prayer Nam Myōhō Renge Kyō.
The bore is colored in red. Brown hemp and brown waxed leather thread bindings.
25 inches in length. Tuned at A440 pitch. Key of C, C#, D minor depending on the diameter bamboo it is built with. 2 + octave range. Pentatonic minor scale.
Light but strong easy to put into a backpack or take along on a hike to go play some flute out in nature or by the river. Beautiful meditative harmonic tones.
